PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and properly measure adhesive strength for a test piece comprising two sheets of plate pieces layered by adhesion between fellow faces. SOLUTION: This tester is provided with a pressing means having a pressing body 22 pressed to one side end part of the pressing side plate piece 111 using the one plate piece 110 constituting the test piece 100 as the pressing side plate piece 111, and using the other plate piece 110 as the pressed side plate piece 112, and capable of measuring pressing force therein, and a holding body 1 for the test piece 100. The holding body 1 for the test piece 100 has a base 10 provided in its front face with a recessed part 10a for storing the test piece 100 by pressing a backface 112a of the pressed side plate piece 112 constituting the test piece 100 to a bottom face of the recessed part 10a. The holding body 1 is constituted to form a moving space 10i in a tip of the other end part of the pressing side plate piece 111 constituting the test piece 100 stored in the recessed part 10a of the base 10.
