PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a sound-recording function which is easily usable in a small space on binoculars. SOLUTION: A binoculars main body 10A is provided with a right-side optical system having an objective 11R. The main body 10A is provided with a left-side optical system having an objective 11L at a relatively displaceable movable part 10B. The main body 10A is provided with a fitting-in part 10a which is fitted in the movable part 10B. A circuit board 23 is arranged adjacently and in parallel to a casing bottom surface of the main body 10A. A sound-recording microphone 22 and a switch 24 are provided at an end of the circuit board which is close to the movable part 10B. An opening part 10b of the movable part 10B is formed thick and a step part 10e is formed inside. When the movable part 10B is displaced up to the maximum eye-width position, the step part 10e comes into contact with an operation part 24a of the switch 24 to turn on the sound-recording function of the sound-recording microphone 22. The opening part 10b of the movable part 10B is provided with a cut 10d and the sound-recording microphone 22 is exposed to the outside at the maximum eye-width position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
