PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly form a structure in the sliding part of a tight frame following up the deformation of a roof panel even if the roof panel expands/contracts due to the temperature variation of the roof panel. SOLUTION: In the mounting method of the roof panels, an oval hole 7 is formed at right angles to a tight frame at an appropriate position of a flat bottom face of the tight frame 1 formed of long corrugated batten plates supporting folding plates and a sliding metal fitting longer than the width of the tight frame is adhered to the lower side of the flat bottom face of the tight frame having the oval hole, to be longitudinally slidable. On the upper side of the flat bottom face of the tight frame, an elastic depression metal fitting having a small hole at the center and a slightly longer than the tight frame width is arranged so as to put on the oval hole of the tight frame. After a short cylinder formed by a squeezing process from the center of the slide wardware toward the upper side or separately jointed with the cylinderical body is inserted in the oval hole of the tight frame and the small hole of the depression metal fitting, by caulking the front end part or jointing the collar hardware, the slide hardware, the tight frame, and the depression metal fitting are connected together to be mutually slidable.
