PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorption cycle device A for a vehicle which can raise temperature of cooling water for an engine in a short period of time, and allow an air conditioning operation to quickly start. SOLUTION: In the absorption cycle device A for the vehicle, a controller 6 switches a flow passage switching valve 5 so that heat exchanger tubes 11, 21 and an engine cooling water circulation circuit 7 are connected, and allows regenerators/absorbers 1, 2 to perform moisture absorbing operation. Therefore, the device can raise the temperature of the cooling water for the engine in a short period of time, improve warming-up, and quickly start up the air conditioning operation.
