<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a micro-lens array substrate by which a plurality of micro-lens arrays can be mass-produced more easily and efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a micro-lens array substrate comprises processes of: supplying a first UV-curing resin 4 separately to the gaps between a pair of transparent substrates and a stamper disposed between the substrates; pressing the pair of transparent substrates 2, 3 to the stamper 1; irradiating the UV curing resin with UV rays to cure and to form microlens arrays; releasing the pair of transparent substrates 2, 3 from the stamper 1 and retrieving the stamper 1 from between the substrates; supplying a second UV-curing resin 5 to the gap between the pair of transparent substrates 2, 3 on which the microlens arrays are molded; pressing the pair of transparent substrates 2, 3 to each other; and curing the second UV-curing resin 5 by being irradiated with UV rays. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
