PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner with high luster which has high luster after fixation, small luster differences in and between recorded bodies (form), and a wide fixable temperature range as a toner for electrostatic latent image development, specially, a full-color toner produced by using an emulsion polymerizing method and a suspension polymerizing method, to provide a developer, and to provide an image forming method in which a full-color image of high picture quality and high reliability can be formed. SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic latent image development is characterized in that an infrared absorption spectrum in a range of 400 to 4,000 cm<SP>-1</SP>has a plurality of absorption peaks and the maximum absorption peak among the plurality of absorption peaks is present in a frequency range of 500 to 800 cm<SP>-1</SP>, the intensity P1 of the maximum absorption peak and the intensity P2 of the 2nd large absorption peak having fixed relation.
