PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a favorable appearance or novel appearance without incongruity for a household electric appliance. SOLUTION: In a display device 10 for displaying operation and information of a washing machine (household electric appliance) on a screen of a display surface 10a, by forming the display surface 10a in curved surface, an appearance that the shape of the display surface 10a well matches the curved shape of the outer shape of the washing machine, or on the contrary a novel appearance that the display surface 10a is combined by different curved surface with the curved surface of the outer shape 6 of the washing machine can be obtained.
