PURPOSE: A lighting equipment is provided to form plural projections or concave portions inside sectional parts of a reflector, to relieve a space of an overlapped area between the reflector and a light guide plate or a light incident on the light guide plate from an edge where the light guide plate is incomplete. CONSTITUTION: A reflector(16) consists of a curved part(30) for covering a light source(14) and one pair of sectional parts(32) extended to both sides of the curved part(30). Plural parallel projections or concave portions(34) are comprised inside the sectional parts(32). A light guide plate(12) has an incident surface(18) and a light emitting surface(20) which is almost vertical to the incident surface(18). The incident surface(18) is equipped with the plural projections or concave portions(34) extended in almost parallel to the light emitting surface(20).
