PURPOSE: A device for protecting the front face of a truck is provided to protect a driver's room and an engine in a collision by installing a front protecting bar on a front bumper of the truck. CONSTITUTION: A front protecting bar(1) is inserted to a front protecting bar bracket. The front protecting bracket is rotatably hinge-coupled to a front bumper bracket fixed on a front bumper of a truck via a hinge pin. A fixing unit(3) is fitted to fixing holes formed in the front protecting bracket and the front bumper bracket. The rotation of the front protecting bar in the upright stance is prevented by the fixing unit. A cut-off switch is installed in the front bumper bracket to prevent the interception of the front protecting bar with a driver's room or a hood when the driver's room is tilted or the hood is opened.
