Valve and protective cover for pressure bottle

The valve for a gas bottle has a protective cage (12) mounted on the bottle (B) to enclose the valve. The cage has multiple apertures (14A-E) for access and viewing of the valve. The valve is actuated by a telescopic lever which has an extension spring to allow it to be selectively compressed for movement out of the cage. The lever is connected to the valve with a free play to prevent valve operation for the initial movement of the lever.
