<p>The balance system is fastened via a bracket (A) to the back pad of a horse's harness, using a strap. The shaft of a single-axle sulky is fastened tightly to a shaft carrier (B), via a strap. The shaft carrier is screwed to a block (C). The block moves up and down a bar (D) via slide bearings, and is returned softly to its original point via a spring system of two pressure springs (E). The up and down movement generated by the shaft unit is compensated by the spring system, so that the stepping movement of the horse is no longer transferred to the driver.</p> |
