<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the speed of a motor through one simple speed control circuit regardless of the magnitude of a load. <P>SOLUTION: A motor controller comprises a converter circuit consisting of a rectifying circuit, a smoothing circuit, and a chopper circuit which controls direct-current voltage by utilizing switching operation and the energy storing effect brought by an inductance, a motor driving unit consisting of an inverter circuit connected with the output of the converter circuit and a motor; a converter control circuit which controls the switching operation of the chopper circuit, an inverter control circuit which controls the switching operation of the inverter circuit and drives the motor, a speed detection circuit which detects the rotor position of the motor and computes the speed thereof, a speed control circuit which is fed with a computed speed value and a speed command value, and controls the speed of the motor through the inverter control circuit, and a direct-current voltage control circuit which is fed with an output signal from the speed control circuit, and controls direct-current voltage through the converter control circuit according to the output signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
