[Class 123 (i).] A device for maintaining constant the level of a liquid in a receptacle consists of a tubular member 1 divided by a perforated partition 2, the upper compartment so formed being provided with liquid from a reservoir through inlets 4, the lower compartment dipping into the liquid in the receptacle. If the liquid falls below a certain level in the re- . ceptacle, liquid enters through the aperture in the partition 2. As shown in Fig. 2 several receptacles may be fitted with separate filling devices 1 which are fed with liquid from a reservoir 13 in which the level is kept constant by means of an inverted jar 14. |
