PURPOSE: An installing structure of a lid magnet of a washing machine is provided to reduce transformation and damage of a fixed rib due to shock when a lid opens and shuts and to prevent a hanging sill from breaking with the lid magnet by improving the installing structure. CONSTITUTION: A lid is connected to an upper surface of a washing machine to open and shut an open hole for the laundry. A lid magnet(58) is installed to a side of the lid to be used to sense opening and shutting of the lid. A fixed rib(60) is protruded from the lid downward to cover the lid magnet. A front portion of the fixed rib is lower than a rear portion of the fixed rib in height. Thereby, damage is prevented by dispersing shock to first and second ribs(66,68). Transformation and damage of the fixed rib are prevented by forming a reinforcing rib(72). |
