PURPOSE: A steering wheel device of a vehicle is provided to change steering wheel torsional vibration mode frequency by varying an inertia moment characteristic of a steering wheel. CONSTITUTION: A steering wheel device of a vehicle has a vehicle speed sensor(110) and a steering wheel spoke(150). The steering wheel device comprises a control part(120), a hydraulic pressure generation part(130), and a shimmy vibration improvement part(160) mounted to the steering wheel spoke. The control part compares the vehicle speed sensed from the vehicle speed sensor with predetermined vehicle speed, varies steering wheel torsional vibration frequency according to the compared result, and outputs a control signal to improve shimmy vibration. The hydraulic pressure generation part generates hydraulic pressure according to the control signal output from the control part. The shimmy vibration improvement part improves shimmy vibration by varying the steering wheel torsional vibration frequency according to the hydraulic pressure generated from the hydraulic pressure generation part.
