PURPOSE: An apparatus including a flash memory uninterrupted by power supply fail is provided to enable a reliable data caching as removing data loss during power supply fail from a host device. CONSTITUTION: An operation apparatus(100) includes a flash memory unit(110) connected to a host device(120). The host device is one of a personal computer and a PDA and a digital camera and an MP3 player and a mobile phone. The host device includes a main power supply(122) for its own operation and also for supplying energy to the flash memory unit. The host device has a data interface(121) to communicate with the flash memory unit through a controller(111) of the flash memory unit. The controller controls to read data from nonvolatile memory modules(112,113).
