摘要 PURPOSE: Cooling structure of an articulated piston is provided to improve the cooling performance of the articulated piston by forming the upper part and a skirt part of the articulated piston with different materials. CONSTITUTION: An articulated piston comprises an upper body of a steel material and a lower body of an aluminum material separably combined. A ring groove, to which a piston ring is formed, is formed to the outer peripheral surface of the upper body. A cooling groove, the lower side of which is open, is formed to the inside of the ring groove. In cooling structure of the articulated piston, an annular cooling ring(40) is combined to the lower side of the cooling groove, to close up the open lower part of the cooling groove of the upper body and form an oil gallery(34), and an oil hole(41), to make oil jetted from an oil jet(60) flow into the oil gallery, is formed in the middle of the annular cooling ring. A vane(50) rotating by the pressure of oil is formed to the upper side of the oil hole.
