PURPOSE: A method of generating and downloading a synthetic image for a cellular phone using the wireless Internet is provided to photograph plural objects or faces to store photographed images as files, and to synthesize the stored images with other desired images or characters, thereby using the images as desktop images. CONSTITUTION: A system photographs images, and stores the photographed images. After a cellular phone having image files accesses an image server, the cellular phone uploads the image files on a user's account provided by the image server via an authentication process. The system selects an image synthetic mode, sequentially designates the desired image files, and controls size, the number, and positions of the images. The system synthesizes the controlled images, and saves the synthesized images as one synthetic image file. The system designates a number of the cellular phone for downloading the synthetic image file. The system downloads the selected synthetic image file to the cellular phone of the designated number.
