PURPOSE: A new variety of plant Cymbidium ENZAN SPRING in the mood having improved properties is provided, thereby the ENZAN SPRING in the mood can be cheaply mass-produced by a clone culture technique. CONSTITUTION: The new variety of plant Cymbidium ENZAN SPRING in the mood having improved properties is prepared by cross-breeding Sylvan Star "Tokimeki" with Lucky Rainbow "saint lapine"; germinating the cross-breeding plant; extracting the apicalmeristem to produce a protocorm-like body(PLB); differentiating the protocorm-like body(PLB) to produce shoots; transferring the shoots into a flask; and asexual reproducing the shoots by subculturing them above three generations, wherein the Cymbidium ENZAN SPRING in the mood has the properties of the leaf length of 60-65 cm, the leaf number of 10-12, the leaf width of 2-2.5 cm, the leaf color of green, the flower number of 14-18, the flower stalk length of 60-65 cm, the flower color of vivid pink, the flower hat color of light red in yellow boarders, the flowering time of December to January, the use for differentiation, and the disease tolerance of A level.
