摘要 PURPOSE: A dielectric ceramic, a method for manufacturing the same and a laminated ceramic capacitor are provided to prevent a degradation of temperature dependency of dielectric constant and achieve improved reliability even when a dielectric ceramic layer is made thin. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric ceramic contains ABO3 as a main component and a rare earth element, wherein A is Ba, or at least one of Ca and Sr, and B is Ti, or at least one of Zr and Hf. 70% or more of crystal grains(21) constituting the dielectric ceramic have a cross-section in which a rare earth element region(22) occupies 5 to 70% and a non-rare earth element region(23) occupies 10 to 80%. A method for manufacturing a dielectric ceramic comprises a step of producing ABO3 aggregates(32); a step of arranging a compound of a rare earth element; a step of mixing the ABO3 aggregates with the compound of rare earth element, and calcining the resultant mixture such that the rare earth element are diffused on the surface of the ABO3 aggregates; and a step of baking a dielectric ceramic powder(35).
