PURPOSE: A semi-reflective LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to form a gate line connection member and a reflective electrode connection member at the same layer, respectively, thereby enhancing the productivity. CONSTITUTION: A buffer layer(106) of a silicon oxide film and an active layer(105) formed a polycrystalline silicon with an island shape are formed on a lower substrate(100). Facing to the lower substrate(100), an upper substrate(113) comprises a black matrix(114), a color filter(115) for implementing RGB colors on the black matrix(114), and a common electrode(116) formed on the black matrix(114).
