PURPOSE: Provided is a water softener directly connected to a shower machine which is able to simply connect a single pipe line between a cock and a shower machine regardless of product standards and rapidly discharge cold and hot water. CONSTITUTION: The water softener comprises a direct line(30) one end of which is connected to the cock(28) and the other end of which is connected to the shower machine(40), solenoid valves(16a,16b,16c) each of which is installed on a regeneration line(32), a water-softening line(34) and a discharge line(36) to be signal-connected to a controller(20), a cold and hot soft water case(26a,26b) where the temperature controlled direct water supplied through the water-softening line by a cold and hot controller(22) is passed through and ion-exchanged by ion exchange resin, a flow meter(18) which is installed between the water-softening line connected to the soft water case and the solenoid valve to meter the amount of the passed direct water, and a regeneration case(24) where salt water prepared by the reaction of the direct water passing through the flow meter with salt is supplied.
