PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elongate service life without impairing the accuracy in measurement even under application of high pressure and high temperature. SOLUTION: A lens 5 of a pressure-proof window material is mounted through a gasket 18 in a state of holding a sample chamber 3, and the lens 5 is fitted in a sleeve 22 through a lens pressing member 20. The sleeve 22 is mounted on a main body 1a by a nut 26 through a compressed coil spring 24, and the lens 5 is pressed to an end face of the sample chamber by the energizing force of the coil spring 24 to seal a sample. A cylinder 7 connected to the sample chamber 3 is fixed to the main body 1a, and a piston 9 of the cylinder 7 is connected to a pressure applying mechanism such as a pressure piston through a joint 11. A heater 13 is mounted on the main body 1a to simultaneously measure the change of temperature. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
