PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reactive composition which inhibits discoloration caused by a catalyst in the reactive composition utilizing a hydrosilylation reaction using the metal complex catalyst. SOLUTION: This reactive composition contains (A) a compound having a hydrosilyl group, (B) an unsaturated organic compound and (C) the metal complex catalyst. The composition further contains (D) an N-containing compound forming a complex with the metal of the metal complex catalyst. The N-containing compound is preferably an amine compound or a carbodiimide compound. The discoloration can further be inhibited by carrying out the hydrosilylation reaction in the presence of oxygen or under a dry condition of≤-20°C dew point. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
