摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a weight ratio of a first and a second cathode active materials within a strict allowable range; and to enable tracking and recording of information, as well as other data, for producing each cell in a production facility, in a cell including a cathode having the second cathode active material of a relatively high energy density but of a relatively low output factor sandwiched between two current collectors and having the first cathode active material of a relatively low energy density but of a relatively high output factor in contact with the opposite sides of the current collectors. <P>SOLUTION: A cathode electrode 32 of a current collector 30 of a cell to supply power to an automatic body-embedded type medical apparatus such as an automatic implantation type defibrillator and a heart pace maker, is described. The current collector 30 has feather-like members 32, 34 opposite to each other and connected by an intermediate tab 36, stores the first and the second active materials and is assembled as a sandwich electrode.
