PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing with higher production efficiency a container where a thermosensitive adhesive label with small degree of blocking and scarce offensive odor is wound around and affixed to the entire periphery of the container. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the container 1 where the thermosensitive adhesive label 2 is wound around and affixed to the entire periphery of the container in the following processes (1) to (3) in order. In the process (1), printing is performed on one side of a plastic film that is to be a label by a photogravure press. In the process (2), a thermosensitive adhesive layer where degree of blocking is 50g/25 mm or less is subsequently provided on the entire printed surface by the same press. In the process (3), the label is heated at 60 to 120°C just before affixed and is wound around the container from the top of the label to the rear end, and the rear end of the label which is wound one time around the container is finally overlapped on the top of the label to affix the label to the container.
