PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elongate a service life without reducing measurement accuracy even by application of a high pressure and a high temperature. SOLUTION: Lenses 5 are arranged so as to sandwich a sample chamber 3 through gaskets 18, and each lens 5 is interfitted into a sleeve 22 through a lens presser 20. The sleeve is mounted on a body 1a by a nut 26 through a coil spring 24 in the compressed state, and each lens is pressed to a sample chamber end face by an energizing force of the coil spring 24, to thereby seal a sample. A cylinder 7 linking to the sample chamber 3 is fixed on the body 1a, and a piston 9 of the cylinder 7 is connected to a pressure application mechanism such as a pressurizing piston through a joint 11. A heater 13 is mounted on the body 1a so that the temperature change can be also measured simultaneously. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
