PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper holder that is less likely to cause injury when the body is brought in contact therewith, that can be easily disposed of, and that can be suitably used for nursing and parenting. SOLUTION: The paper holder 10 detachably attached with a spindle 15 that supports the roll paper, which is rotatably retained by the spindle 15, is formed with a base section 20 that serves as a base for installing on an installing section and side pieces 30 that project forward from both right and left sides of the base section 20 and support the spindle.
