PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein the position of an optical element is not easily adjusted with respect to a mount member due to large frictional resistance at the contacted part between the optical element and the mount member. SOLUTION: The optical element unit 10 is provided with an fθlens 11 and the mount member 13 on which the fθlens 11 is fixed via an adhesive 12. The mount member 13 has a base part 14, a supporting part 15 which is projected from the base part 14 and has a supporting face 15a on which the fθlens 11 is mounted, and an air supply passage 16 one end of which is open to the supporting face 15a for blasting out air. The other end of the air supply passage 16 is open toward the base part 14, an air supply means is connected to the the other end of the air supply passage 16, the air is ejected from the supporting face 15a when the position of the fθlens 11 is adjusted with respect to the mount member 13, and thus the frictional resistance between the supporting face 15a and the fθlens 11 is reduced.
