摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature detection device capable of reducing a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: Assuming that the resistance value of a pull-up resistor is R<SB>p</SB>and that the resistance value of a heat-inductive resistance element is R<SB>T</SB>, in the case of a first voltage taking-out mode, the voltage (V1) of the heat-inductive resistance element is shown by the formula: VCC×R<SB>T</SB>/(R<SB>P</SB>+R<SB>T</SB>), and in the case of a second voltage taking-out mode, the voltage (V2) of the heat-inductive resistance element is shown by the formula: VCC×R<SB>T</SB>/(2R<SB>P</SB>+R<SB>T</SB>). When the two heat-inductive resistance elements are operated normally (a disconnection or a short-circuit fault is not generated), the ratio of the voltages taken out respectively in the first and second taking-out modes matches the ratio (V1:V2) of the two formulas, and thereby existence of a fault in the two heat-inductive resistance elements can be surely determined.
