PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast recording system to reduce storage capacity required for recording broadcasted content.

SOLUTION: A television broadcasting station 40 broadcasts storage information which is identified from among groups of content similar to broadcasting content capable of being distributed from a content distributing center 60 after adding the storage information to the broadcasting content. A storage information recording unit 202 of a recording apparatus 50 records the storage information added to the received broadcasting content into a hard disk 104. A requesting unit 203 requests to the content distributing center 60 for distributing content identified by the recorded storage information to be distributed from the content distributing center 60. The content distributing center 60 receives a distributing request and distributes the distributing content to the recording apparatus 50. The recording apparatus 50 reproduces the distributed content.
