<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable waterproof function in a lamp for a vehicle, wherein a flange section is formed in the outer peripheral section of a lens in particular, and a packing is stuck fast to a flange section in the back face of the lens, in the lamp for the vehicle, which is mounted on an opening on a car body side from the outside of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: Ribs, which are inclined in an outside direction (toward the periphery of the lens), are arranged on the all periphery of the lens on the car body mounting face side of the packing, which is stuck fast to the back face of the lamp.
