PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve installation safety and sealing reliability by installing a gasket at an accurate position to eliminate anxiety about a fall-out, in regard to a gasket to be tightened for fixation between two members in an engine for an automobile. SOLUTION: This gasket is formed of a board 1 also serving as a core material, a rubber seal body 2 formed in the board to seal, and a spacer member 3 for regulating tightening dimension. The board is formed with an opening part 11 and a bolt hole 12 by cutting, and a holding part for holding the spacer member with the rubber seal body is formed in the bolt hole by vulcanization. Thereafter, the spacer member is installed in the holding part, and heated for vulcanization again to fix the spacer member to the holding part. With this structure, the gasket is installed at an accurate position to eliminate an anxiety of a fall-out to improve installation safety and sealing ability, and guaranteed for excellent sealing performance and vibration preventing action for a long time without deterioration.
