Glass substrate comprising raised glass elements (20) placed over part of its area, characterized in that the glass elements (20) are intrinsically incorporated into the substrate. Advantageously, this substrate is used in a plasma screen for which the front face includes a first electrode array (13a, 13b) and the rear face, which consists of said structured substrate, includes a second electrode array (12) approximately perpendicular to the first array (13a, 13b) and placed on the external face (23) of the structured substrate, opposite the space (21) lying between the raised elements (20), while phosphors (16) occupy, surfacewise, the space (21) lying between the raised elements.
