PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having elastic wing parts each having a sufficient strength, being soft and preventing the generation of sound, having an attachment unbalance correcting function in wearing, having superior fitting performance and smoothly mounted on shorts. SOLUTION: This absorbent article 10 is provided with an absorbent body 11 and the pair of wing parts 16, the respective wing parts 16 are formed of nonwoven fabric 1 including crimped staple formed by being crimped and thermally fusible fiber and having elasticity and the nonwoven fabric 1 is partially formed with a thermal fusion part. The both wing parts 16 are so formed that respective one parts are mutually stackably formed in wearing the absorbent article 10, one surface of one wing part 16a is disposed of a male member 17 of a mechanical hook and one surface (upper surface) of the other wing part 16b is so formed that the male member 17 can be directly engaged and locked thereto in stacking the both wings.
