<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain differential data of pixel data between first and second frames at high speed and low costs. <P>SOLUTION: The pixel data of the first frame (reference frame) is stored in a unit A with multiple memory cells in a memory cell array unit 20a arranged in a straight binary form in a direction to which a bit line BL is extending. The pixel data of the second frame (search frame) is stored in a unit B with multiple memory cells in a memory cell array unit 20b arranged in a complement form in the direction to which the bit line BL is extending. Word lines WL related to the pixel data of the first and the second frames are activated simultaneously, and accumulated charges of capacitors in the multiple memory cells connected to the multiple word lines WL are coupled on one bit line BL. An A/D converter 53 outputs a differential absolute value, which is a digital signal with a value corresponding to the total charge quantity.
