<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic film material which can solve the problem by using a cheap sensitizing dye composed of an organic substance in a dye-sensitized type solar battery, to provide a solar battery having the photovoltaic film, and to provide further manufacturing methods of the photovoltaic film material and the photovoltaic film. <P>SOLUTION: A photovoltaic film 30 has photocatalyst-coated particles having inorganic particles which are the particles composed of an inorganic material and of which surfaces are coated with titanium-dioxide particles. The photocatalyst-coated particles are obtained by, preparing a mixed liquid by mixing with each other an aqueous solution obtained by mixing with each other a titanium hydroxide gel and a hydrogen-peroxide water, a powder made of the inorganic particles, and a water, a agitating the mixed liquid as to leave thereafter it intact, to produce a product obtained by coating the surfaces of the inorganic particles with titanium hydroxide. Thereafter, by baking the product, the photocatalyst-coated particles are obtained. This photocatalyst-coated particles are so made paste-like by using a binder as to form the photovoltaic film by applying the paste-like photocatalyst-coated particles to a conductive-glass plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
