<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring a power saving of high precision which is applied to a power saving method in which power is saved by temporarily and periodically cutting off a power supply, for an electric apparatus comprising a self control function which detects requirement of operation to automatically operate/stop accordingly. <P>SOLUTION: When a start time of temporary cutting off of power supply to an electric apparatus agrees with a start time of stopping the electric apparatus, the time period of temporary cutting off is assumed as an effective power saving period. An effective power saving rate is acquired based on the integrated operation time in which operation hours of the electric apparatus are integrated and the integrated effective power saving hours in which effective power saving hours are integrated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
