PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cable penetration capable of reducing to the utmost interference of peripheral equipment or the like, and minimizing an exchange term of works, waste or cost. SOLUTION: In this cable penetration for holding a cable module 6 penetrating a nuclear reactor containment 1, a cable holding part is divided into a plurality of units 25a, 25b, assembled in a factory or on a site, and loaded on the site relative to each unit into a sleeve 3 penetrating the nuclear reactor containment 1, to thereby complete assembly. The cable penetration for replacement can be installed without interfering with the peripheral equipment by this constitution, and not only a work process can be shortened greatly without requiring removal and restoration of the peripheral equipment but also generation of radioactive waste resulting from the removal can be avoided, and also the terrestrial environment, a construction process and the operation rate of a power plant can be improved.
