PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic turbine for maintaining high efficiency in a wide operation range and for improving cavitation performance by contriving the shape of the splitter blade and the full blade of a runner blade. SOLUTION: In the Francis turbine, where the runner blade 2 is divided into the full blade 2a and the spliter blade 2b, and the divided full blade and the splitter blade are alternately arranged along the peripheral direction of a runner 1, a relationship in an expression (Ls/Lf)h≥1.05 (Ls/Lf)s is established between the ratio of a splitter blade meridian plane length Lsh to a full blade meridian plane length Lf at a hub side and the ratio of a splitter blade meridian plane length Lss to a full blade meridian plane length Lfs at a shroud side.
