PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional film with a pressure-sensitive adhesive which is structured of a pressure-sensitive adhesive laminated over the entire width of the functional film. SOLUTION: The functional film with a pressure-sensitive adhesive is manufactured through the following steps: First, the functional film 20(width b) is laminated on a first process film 11(width a) (a>b); the surface of the film 11 is activation-treated over a wider range than the width b from the functional film 20 side; separately a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 31(width d) is formed on a second process film 12(width c) (c≥d, a≥d>b); the functional film 20 with the surface activation-treated on the first process film 11 and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 31 formed on the second process film 12 are laminated over each other and in this case, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 31 is pressed so as to bring the exposed face of the former into contact with the first process film 11; and next, the first process film 11 is released from the functional film 20.
