<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the rotational efficiency of the windmill and prevent the destruction thereof by fitting wind-collecting plates in front of the windmill and by making them capable of being opened widely when a strong wind blows. CONSTITUTION:The crossing part of right and left arm plates 2 and 2' forming nearly Y-shaped body (a) against the direction W of a wind indicated by the arrows is supported pivotally by a vertical rotary shaft 4. This vertical rotary shaft 4 is fitted with a rotary wing 13, whereby the windmill (b) is formed. In front of the windmill (b) the wind-collecting plates 7 and 8 are fitted so as to be capable of being opened widely when a strong wind blows. By this constitution, the windmill (b) can be rotated efficiently by the wind-collecting operation of the wind-collecting plates 8 and 7 and, in addition, the wind is made to escape by opening the plates 8 and 7 widely at the time of the strong wind, whereby the destruction of the windmill (b) can be prevented.</p> |
