A building has an outer wall or roof skin made up of two or more different materials with interfaces exposed to the possible ingress of water. The interface zone is protected esp. by a crepe plastic or metal foil. The metal is e.g. aluminium, copper, zinc and has a rear coating which is a bonding layer.
