PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a bird damage-preventing tool, by which the bird damage-preventing tools having various sizes can be produced at low costs, and to provide a bird damage-preventing tool having excellent productivity / installation property. SOLUTION: This method for producing the bird damage tool comprises a single connected unit-forming step for forming a single connected unit produced by fixing the bent portions of V-shaped branch wires to a base wire to form the single connected unit having the V-shaped branch wires whose tips are upward projected out, and a single connected unit-connecting step for arranging the base wires parallel to each other and connecting two or more above-described single connected units through connection members. Since the sizes and connection number of the single connected units can freely be selected by the above-described method, the bird damage tools having various sizes can easily be produced with an identical production apparatus. In the bird damage tool, the branch wires can efficiently be arranged to improve the productivity, and the degree of installation freedom can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
