PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head device in which a shaft hole allowing to improve slidability with a spindle is formed in a lens holder. SOLUTION: The lens holder 71 of the optical head device is an injected molding provided with a cylindrical body part 72, a cylindrical bearing part 73, and tabular ribs 74 for coupling the body part 72 to the bearing part 73, and a lower end part 731 of the bearing part 73 projects by a tenth of the whole length from the circumferential periphery as a lower end side cylindrical part 731A without being connected at all with the tabular ribs 74. The upper end part 732 of the bearing part 73 also projects by a quarter of the whole length of the bearing part 73 as the upper end cylindrical part 732A without being connected at all with the tabular ribs 74. The thickness of the upper en side part 732A and the lower end side cylindrical part 731A is uniform in the circumferential direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
