<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for inkjet recording which does not bring about feathering, color bleeding and the like and does not cause show through, and can form high density and high precision record images of high image quality with good fixing properties even when the recording medium is plain paper, and an inkjet recording method using the ink. <P>SOLUTION: The ink set for inkjet recording is composed of at least a recording liquid containing a coloring material and a treating liquid, and the treating liquid contains an amphoteric ionic polymer compound, and when the viscosity of the treating liquid is taken as ηA (mPa s) and the viscosity of a mixture of the treating liquid and the recording liquid at a volume ratio of 1:1 is taken as ηB (mPa s), the above ink set meets the relationship to be represented by the formula: ηB-ηA≥5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
