PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to answer even a telephone call from the other party which is not registered in terminal equipment, with predicted reliability of a transmission source. SOLUTION: When receiving data of an electronic mail including preset specific data, the terminal device on the reception side not only displays at least a part of data of the electronic mail including the preset specific data on a display means and but also emits an incoming tone for informing the user of incoming of a telephone call, in response to incoming of the telephone call from the transmission source of the electronic mail within a prescribed time after reception of the electronic mail or in response to incoming of the telephone call from the transmission source of the electronic mail in parallel with reception of the electronic mail.
