PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply tie a fishing line to a fishhook even under any conditions by anyone. SOLUTION: An auxiliary tool to assist operation when tying the fishing line 4 to the crowned fishhook 3 having an eye 30 formed so as to thread the fishing line 4 therethrough at one end. The auxiliary tool is composed of a sinker 11 and a hook 12 for connecting the sinker 11 to the fishhook 3. In a state of the fishing line 4 threaded through the eye 30 for threading the fishing line of the fishhook 3, the sinker 11 is hung from the fishhook 3 through the hook 12 to keep the fishing line 4 in a tense state.
