PURPOSE: A door latch retainer is provided to prevent a vehicle from being stolen by completely shielding an exposed portion of a locking cable. CONSTITUTION: A door module(100) is installed in a door so as to install a door locking system in the door. A door inside handle(200) is provided at an inner upper portion of the door module(100). A door latch retainer(400) is coupled to a lower portion of the door module(100). A cable supporter(110) is provided at an upper side portion of the door module(100) in order to bind a locking cable(300) transferring driving force of the door inside handle(200) to a door latch(500). The door latch retainer(400) includes a cable protecting section for shielding an exposed portion of the locking cable(300), a hook section(420) coupled to an end of the door module(100), and the door latch(500) coupled to a door striker attached to a vehicle.
