PURPOSE: A disc spacer assembly, an HDD(Hard Disc Drive), and a method for assembling a disc assembly are provided to reduce the track mis-registration due to the mechanical vibration transferred in the HDD by reducing the mechanical vibration transferred to the disc with the spacer assembly equipped with a damping material layer. CONSTITUTION: A HDD includes a base plate, a spindle motor installed to the base plate, the first and the second disc(12A,12B), a spacer assembly(42), an actuator arm, a head, and a VCM(Voice Coil Motor). The spacer assembly includes a spacer(50), the first washer(46), and the first damping material layer(52) placed between the spacer and the first washer, and separates the second disc from the first disc. An actuator arm is installed to the base plate. The head is attached to the actuator arm and is coupled to the disc. The VCM is coupled to the actuator arm.
